Friends, it is believed that our mouth is the mirror of our health. You will know that when you visit to the doctor, first of all they ask you to take out your tongue. This is because the path of nerves from our tongue is connected to all our body parts. So if you want to always be healthy. So you should clean your mouth in a good way. However, most people unknowingly make mistakes that may prove to be a threat to their teeth and gums.

According to the latest survey, today's lifestyles do not clean their mouths well at all, which has to face problems like Plaque, Tooth decay, Bleeding gums, Bad breath, Tooth cavity. 86% of people around the world take oral care very lightly, but the good thing is that 90% of oral problems can be corrected at home.
I have divided this blog post into two parts (Part-1 & Part-2). In the Part-1, I will share with you 5 bad habits that you should remove from your daily routine to make your teeth strong.
In the next post (Part-2), I will share with you five such good habits that you must include in your daily routine.

Nasty Habits :-
1. Using a toxic toothpaste.❌

What tooth paste do you use, friends? Colgate, Pepsodent, Close up or Dant kanti. Harmful chemicals are used in more than 90% of tooth paste in the Indian market. Especially Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS). If you often have mouth ulcers. So this may be due to SLS in your toothpaste. Do you know that Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) has been registered as an insecticide? But most companies use it because it gives good foam and it is also very cheap. Daily use of SLS causes its layer to fall on the rest of the body parts. Then if you have fluoride in your toothpaste, then definitely pay attention to it. Although doctors recommend fluoride, only three grams of fluoride can kill a 50 kg human being. Most children should take special care not to swallow toothpaste and use safe toothpaste.
2. Brushing just after a meal.❌

Friends, when we eat something, the acid-level of our mouth increases. At this time your tooth enamel is very weak, brushing at the same time can prove to be harmful. Salivary glands are present inside our mouth. Those who release saliva (basic in nature) neutralize the increased acid-level by eating food in 30 minutes. So the next time you brush after 30 minutes of eating.
3. Brushing incorrectly.❌

Friends, the dentist says that we should brush twice daily. According to a survey, 89% of people brush incorrectly every day. Although brushing is not a difficult task, but you may face many diseases due to brushing incorrectly. We should always use soft bristle toothbrush only. Second, you have to keep in mind that you always use the same toothpaste as peas. Brushing should always be done in circular motion, not vertically nor horizontally. We should always brush slowly so that you can clean every corner of your mouth, you should keep changing your tooth brush every three months. These are small things on which you can pay attention, then you can get rid of dental problems to a great extent.
4. Not cleaning the tongue properly.❌

Cleaning the tongue is as important as cleaning your teeth. If you do not clean your tongue properly, then problems like smelting, plaque freezing can come from your mouth. Tongue cleaner should be used to clean the tongue. According to Ayurveda, your tongue cleaner should be of copper, silver, gold, tin or brass. Copper is very effective for removing bacteria.

5. Tooth picking.❌

Friends, do you have a habit of picking teeth after a meal? If yes, then stop doing it today. By regular tooth picking, your teeth begin to form and it starts damaging our gums as well. Sometimes bleeding also starts coming from it. Our mouth parts are very sensitive. We should never put nails, pens, pencils inside our mouths or else we should not use our mouths as a bottle opener. This can prove to be very harmful.
